Rhode Island Student Scholarship

The Rhode Island Association of Admission Officers has a long tradition of supporting the academic aspirations of students in Rhode Island. One of the ways we achieve this is by offering multiple $500 scholarships. To be eligible students must have attended and graduated from a Rhode Island high school or received a Rhode Island GED and must be accepted with plans to enroll as a degree or certificate candidate student at any RIAAO member institution. We offer the scholarship to students who are enrolling as a first year student, a transfer student, or a non-traditional student.

Apply for a scholarship! Decisions will be communicated to the award recipients in July. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Scholarship Committee Chairs Ruby Morris-Jones (rubyjones@uri.edu) or Katie Burdick (kburdick@providence.edu) with any questions.

Rhode Island Counselor Annual Meeting and Conference Scholarship

The Rhode Island Association of Admission Officers annually grants at least one scholarship for a Rhode Island counselor to attend the Annual Meeting and Conference (AMC) given by the New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NEACAC). The administration of this scholarship is handled directly by the NEACAC organization.
